He sung that song both for male and female version. Kumar then inherited a new style for singing which is known as Yodelling. Then S.D Burman, Thought to help Kishore enhance his singing skills. He then trained Kishore further. S. D. Burman wanted kishore to sung songs for various Dev Anand’s movies such as Munimji (1954), Taxi Driver (1954), House no 44(1955), Funtoosh (1956), Nau Do Gyarah (1957), Paying Guest (1957), Guide (1965), Jewel Thief (1967), Prem Pujari(1970), and Tere Mere Sapne (1971). He has sung many indian songs like ; Arre Yaar Meri Tum bhi Ho Gajab and Gaata Rahe Mera Dil in 1965,Ai Meri Topi Palat Ke Aa and Nakhrewaali in 1956, Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke , Chhod Do Aanchal , Ankhon Mein Kya Jee , Eena Meena Deeka and Maana Janaab Ne Pukara Nahi in 1957, Haal Kaisa Hai Janaab Ka , C.A.T. Then he was also seen in other films such as ; Ladki , Char Paise, and Baap Re Baap. After that in 1954, he appeared in a film “Naukari”. In 1956, he was featured in three films “Bhai Bhai , Bhagam bhag and  New Delhi”.Then in 1957, he was seen in two other films “Musafir and Aasha”.In 1958, he appeared in a film named “Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi and Dilli Ka Thug”.In 1959, he appeared in Jaalsaaz. In 1961, he was casted in a film “Jhumroo”. He has acted in many more films like ; Half Ticket ( 1962), Mr. X in Bombay ( 1964), Padosan ( 1968), Bombay ka chor ( 1962), Ek Raaz ( 1963), Haal E Dil ( 1966).
